The Tour is presented by the imagineNATIVE Film + Media Arts Festival, the world’s largest Indigenous film festival and one of Canada’s most successful Aboriginal-run arts organizations. "Our Tour is one of our most important projects and it’s our goal to ensure that Aboriginal people in Canada have access to films made by Aboriginal artists!"
Celebrating 16 years in October 2015, the imagineNATIVE Film + Media Arts Festival is the world’s largest showcase of film, video, radio, and new media made by Indigenous artists. Each fall, the Festival presents a selection of the most compelling and distinctive Indigenous works from Canada and around the globe. The works accepted reflect the diversity of the world’s Indigenous nations and illustrate the vitality and excellence of our arts and cultures in contemporary media.
